Ok so today was our favorite so far. We woke up and went all the way to the north of the city to Senso-ji- it's Tokyo's oldest temple (year 645). To enter, each person is supposed to "cleanse" themselves by lighting insence and standing in the smoke then you rinse your hands in a fountain. Then you enter the giant temple which is amazing! (This is also the temple and pagoda they recreated for Epcot, btw)
Afterwards, we took a rickshaw ride to the Tokyo Sky Tree. Then we took the metro to the west end of the city to the wild fashion disctrict: Harajuku. Crazy fashion everywhere!
We ate some awesome noodles in soup and crazy good fried rice and we were off to Kabukiza to score some late night Kabuki tickets (which was really weird and really, really cool).
Haven't found the cola-flavored Cheetos or the crazy vending machines, but I am keeping an eye out!
